Starter Stile
Use the Starter Stile tray with any of the starter stile books. The Stile tray is the key to self-checking activites. Children answer the questions in the Starter Stile book (sold seperately) by matching the tiles directly over the answers in the clear lid of the tray. Once completed, close the lid of the tray, turn it over (do a drum roll!!) and re-open the tray to reveal a pattern which should match the one printed at the top of the page. A highly motivating way to learn!
Approx age range: pre-school - Key stage 1 (and older SEN children)

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your help last Monday when I visited your shop. I asked you whether you had anything to introduce letters and words to my 3 year old daughter and you recommended to me the Starter Stile. I was a bit concerned that she would be too young for this and wouldn't get it but she loves it and we've nearly completed the book that I bought in one day. She especially loves the "drum roll" and tapping the stile on the back before revealing whether she's got it right. I love the fact that you have good knowledge of your products.
